Denver, CO – A high wind warning has been issued for the Front Range Mountains in Colorado during this weather alert.
The Front Range Mountains and Foothills are under a High Wind Warning that was issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) and will be in force from Wednesday evening at five o’clock until Thursday morning at six o’clock.
There is a possibility that regions over 6,000 feet, such as Estes Park, Breckenridge, and Evergreen, will be affected by west winds with speeds ranging from 35 to 50 miles per hour, with gusts reaching up to 80 miles per hour. It is possible that these circumstances will cause debris to be blown around, travel to be difficult, and power outages to occur.

According to the National Weather Service, the highest gusts are expected to occur overnight, which poses a threat to high-profile automobiles and other outdoor objects that are not secured. During travel, residents are strongly encouraged to take precautions and secure any unsecured objects they may have.
