According to the same Diario AS, “mutilated” bills are defined as any bills that have been clipped, have edges that have been damaged, or have discolored sections.

As a result of the fact that they are less popular, Money mentions that there are some reports that the fifty-dollar bill is likely to be completely retired. On the other hand, the rumors are not accurate.
