Cold weather continues to affect South Georgia this week
A cold front is set to arrive tonight, adding to the chill that has lingered over the past few days. Temperatures tonight are expected to stay around or below freezing (32 degrees) in several areas, prompting a freeze warning for some counties once more.
Tuesday is expected to be cold, with temperatures only reaching the low 50s. Expect cool breezes, plenty of sunshine, and chilly temperatures on Wednesday morning. A significant freeze may occur as numerous regions dip into the low to mid-20s. Expect a bit of warmth on Wednesday afternoon, with temperatures reaching the upper 50s as southerly winds bring in milder air.
The upcoming Thursday and Friday will bring a new frontal boundary, resulting in more clouds and pleasant temperatures. Showers are expected on Thursday, but they will be isolated. Expect the highest likelihood of rain as the weekend progresses.
