MCHS (Orlando, FL) – The cold front that arrived on Tuesday will bring cooler and drier conditions to east Central Florida for the rest of this week.
Expect little warming on Tuesday, with skies remaining largely cloudy to gloomy and gradually clearing later in the afternoon and evening. Afternoon highs will be in the mid to upper 60s. Winds will remain high throughout the afternoon and overnight.
The lows for Tuesday night and early Wednesday will be in the high 30s to low 40s. However, with the increased air, wind chills could get significantly colder.
Longshore currents will develop, raising the possibility of hazardous rip currents throughout the Atlantic coastline. The cooler-than-normal weather will continue throughout the week, with temperatures in the 60s during the day and the 40s at night.

The coldest night will be Thursday and Friday, with lows in the mid-30s north of I-4 and low 40s in the northern inland areas. By Friday afternoon, temperatures will begin to rise as high pressure moves offshore, bringing more southerly breezes.
Expect warmer and wetter weather this weekend. A big weather system is predicted to travel across the country, with the resulting cold front hitting north Florida by Saturday. The front is predicted to decelerate significantly and remain for the majority of the weekend.
While there is still some uncertainty, models indicate that rain chances will likely increase (30-40%) as the weekend unfolds. Highs will rise again into the 70s, possibly even the low 80s, with lows in the 60s on Saturday and Sunday.
Cooler temperatures will return early next week.
