On October 23rd, 2021 Madison County High school will be hosting their annual Homecoming dance. Starting at 7:00pm and ending at 10:30pm, all students are encouraged to meet in the cafeteria to enjoy themselves and have a good time. The theme for the homecoming of the school year of 2021-22 is The Greatest Showman!

“People that are bringing guests must get a waiver for the person before the 21st, so they’ll be eligible to come. Remember that jeans and shorts are not allowed to be worn,” says principal Dixon. The tickets are being sold for $10 in the cafeteria during all lunches, starting Tuesday, the week of the dance.

This year will be different due to COVID decreasing and a majority of our students being back to in-person learning. A couple of students who attended last year’s dance gave us their opinions on this year’s. “It was nice to see a lot of people that we hadn’t seen due to quarantine at last year’s dance. The theme this year is very different, but still exciting. Even though the music will be more filtered, I still think that everyone will have a good time with their friends,” explains Kadence Wright, a Junior here at MCHS.

We are really looking forward to seeing everyone all dressed up. If you are looking forward to having a good time, come have fun with us at our homecoming dance this weekend.
