You can have a relaxed day and focus on your personal hygiene and appearance. Stay in and pamper yourself. Looking good and feeling good go hand in hand. Spoil yourself to a haircut, blowout, mani-pedi, or massage. Make it a full day of self-care activities that make you feel rejuvenated and refreshed. Take a long bath, do a face mask, or paint your nails. If you are going for a different vibe, do something fun, get out and enjoy yourself. Going to the movies is arguably better than going with someone else. You can finally watch that new movie that you have been dying to see without having to worry about being interrupted. Solo dinners are so underrated. Order whatever you desire without having to make conversation. You should definitely try your best to stay away from social media and make Valentine’s Day a phone-free day. Seeing how everyone is spending their day with their significant other is not going to make you feel any better. Everyone knows he bought her that giant teddy bear and a box of chocolates. So what girl! You can buy yourself that same stuff or maybe even better. Remember that expensive pair of earrings you had your eyes on the last time you went shopping? Well, what are you waiting for? You have the money! Go get it! Do whatever makes you happy! Cut yourself some slack and always remember that you are worthy of love.
